To optimize performance, both Hurricanes utilize a deep-skirt aluminum block, forged steel crankshaft, direct injection, and eTorque mild hybrid assist. Power is routed through an upgraded TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. Intelligent cylinder deactivation seamlessly switches between 6 and 4 cylinders to maximize efficiency.
